Writing Foundations
(6 weeks, 50 min sessions)

This six-week course introduces the foundational sentence-structure skills students need to begin planning and drafting clear, well-constructed paragraphs. Students are also introduced to essential paragraph-planning skills and the relationship between main ideas and supporting details. Building confidence and control at the sentence level prepares students to progress to Writing Structures, where they will apply these skills to more advanced paragraph and essay writing.

Reading Comprehension & Notetaking
(6 weeks, 50 min sessions)

This six-week course focuses on the essential skills students need to understand and respond to complex texts. Students learn how to identify main ideas, analyze key details, and break down challenging readings with confidence. Emphasis is also placed on effective note-taking strategies that help students organize their thinking and retain important information.

Writing Structures
(10 weeks, 50 min sessions)

** Pre-requisite: Writing Foundations **

This ten-week course continues from Writing Foundations and focuses on multiple-paragraph outlines, text structures, thesis development, transitions, advanced argument strategies, introducing evidence, citing sources, and strengthening revision skills. Frequent inclusion of the Foundations principles will enhance this advanced course and build student confidence in long-form academic writing.

Word Processing 101
(6 weeks, 50 min sessions)

This course introduces students to the essential tools and techniques of effective word processing. By the end of the course, students will be able to independently create, format, edit, and submit a polished academic essay using professional word-processing skills. Comprehensive training in speech-to-text is also included in this package. For best results, students should bring their own laptop with Microsoft Word and a Google account (for Google Docs.)

Weekly Coaching Subscription
(50 min/80 min sessions)

** Pre-requisite: Writing Structures **

Students who complete both the Foundations and Structures courses may want to extend their learning. These one-to-one coaching sessions provide personalized support for students who want continued, targeted instruction for specific writing challenges. These sessions are billed one month at a time.

Four 50 minute sessions: $380
Four 80 minute sessions: $540
